Default Offset for 18 inch wheels

Hello everyone,

I just got the new IS250 two weeks ago. I am so excited and love the car so much.

I am planning to upgrade 18 inch wheels with stock suspension. Mine is just the regular IS without the f sport upgrade. I may lower the car for 1.5" max in the future.

Can anyone advise what is the best offset for 18x8 front and 18x9 or 18x9.5 rear?
I checked out the Rays Wheel website. It claimed the 18x9 offset +30 can fit the IS250.
I heard some people said the best will be near 40 offset.

Any professional opinion?

Thanks so much!

juvi22003,

I probably won't do any fender work.....
btw, Gram Lights 57fxx is what I want to get but the chart here really confusing me.

I want the19x9 "FACE-2" concave look in the rear but the chart said all the offset (15,25,30) will fit the IS?!?!

Any suggestion? Is the offset 38 will be better fit?

Thanks!

Here is my suggestion 19x9.5 +38 front 19x10+40 rear no fender work needed plus your car wont be lowered if u need a lil more poke u could do +30 in rear.

I got 5mm spacers to get a little wider look without any further mods like new lugs, front turning rubbing, fender work etc (Post 8: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ng-thread.html)

I'll be installing them this weekend with before/after pics!

Hey CorradoMR2, what is the offset for the 18" F-sport wheels? I am sure it will look nicer with the spacer!

TunerRC, unfortunately I don't know the offset. I believe someone posted this info already.

Maybe my post will help. I Installed the 5mm spacers and I find it looks awesome. It's subtle, but you can still tell since you see a little more tire sticking out. Car looks even more planted!

1st and 3rd pics are before shots. 2nd, 4th, and 5th are after.

For the Build thread and more pics, see https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-thread-4.html
