Default Lug Nut Size

Does anyone know what size are the lug nuts in our cars? is it the same size as 2nd GEN IS?

The lug nut size is 12x1.5
Just bought some locking nuts myself.
Almost all toyotas and lexus use this size.

what did you end up purchasing? I'm thinking about gettting some R40 neo-chrome, but i dont want my lock nuts sticking out too much.

I ended up getting some nuts called Gorilla Lock nuts.
Mainly because they are steel, not aluminum, and becuase they were avalible in black. I also bought stock lug nuts powder coated black.
I think it will fit the grey f-sport wheels better than silver nuts.

i just test fitted 3IS F Sport wheels on my car, same lug nuts fit those wheels if that helps

Getting them installed this weekend

Not they won't fit.
They have the wrong seat.
Search for the ones with "Mag" seat.

If the aftermarket rims have a cone hole the set you linked to will fit. However it seemed a bit expensive compared to normal mcgard nuts..

Thanks for the info. There are lug nuts out there that cost from $80 to $380! But IMO Mcgrads are the best thing to OEM and the $$ is right too!

Bringing this thread back alive because I need help lol.


I know someone above said "mag seat", can anyone else confirm? Or does it depend on what wheel you get...? I was looking into VIP modular or avant garde. Does the OEM wheels and aftermarket have the same seat or no?
