Question Winter Driving IS C

I am considering buying an IS convertible but need some input about winter driving.
(I currently own a Nissan Z convertible with all weather tires and CANNOT drive it in snow and ice.)

Since the IS has rear wheel drive, is winter driving a problem with the factory all weather tires?

Will the size of the engine (250 or 350) make a difference in winter handling?

Thanks in advance for any help with these questions.
