This is exactly what I'm talking about and concerned with; I'd say, however, I do more than the occasional highway drive, as I drive on same every day, but for a short stint; 10-15 minutes worth. Let's please get down to the bottom of this...

HI all...I have a IS250 F sport RWD and I am averaging 26-27 MPG. I am in ECO/Normal/Sport 60/20/20.
I use 91 octane and drive conservatively 60/40 highway/city.

The same reason I dislike Dual-Clutch. They cannot crawl and glide.
On ECO setting now on my IS250 AWD. I have a 44 mile round trip to work on a combination of hilly and flat roads and average 35 MPH. Fuel mileage has improved to 26 - 27 MPG. I believe that ambient temperature does factor in to the fuel mileage equation. The car does seem to coast better in ECO mode. Interesting that I could achieve 28 MPG driving the same commute in my 2011 5 Series in-line six with an eight speed automatic, 24 MPG in my 2008 BMW 335xi and 26 MPG in my 2005 Audi A4 2.0T.

Overall, the IS250 is meeting my expectations especially due to the smooth V6 and transmission shift pattern power delivery.

I was talking to a few people who have 350 F-Sports that live in a big city. This car is not a good in general for MPG if you do alot of stop and go driving and heavy traffic. The others I have talked to similar to my commute are also getting around 14-17 MPG. Driving in the Suburbs over the weekend my MPG drastically shot up to 22-23 MPG.

Obviously I didnt but this car for MPG but I feel better knowing its not just MY car.

Driving a 350-RWD F-sport. The first tank I was getting 21 MPG a mix of highway and city. Now I am getting 24-25 MPG. I think the setup time at the dealer with all the idling killed the first tank.

Driving a mixture of eco and Sport+. On the highway I am in eco unless I have to pass. In the city starting out from stop signs and red lights I will put it in S or S+ really don't care for the slow starts of the eco getting up to speed.

[/QUOTE]Hey guys,

Here is an update on my MPG. I have a 2014 IS250 F sport with under 1,000 miles. As i was driving my car this past weekend to go and visit a friend, I noticed my MPG's was consistently gaining. I normally drive in ECO mode on the highway at around 70-75 MPH. At first my MPG started at 27...then 10-15 mins into my drive it went up to 29..and continued to climb all the was up to 35.3 MPG. I was so excited that I had to take this picture and show you guys that it is possible to get good MPG on this car.

35 MPG is really impressive. I never thought that non-hybrid 3IS would be able to achieve that kind of numbers, even on highways. Tailwind maybe?

I'm only on my third tank on my 350 AWD, but so far I've been averaging 17-19 in mostly city driving. I leave it in Normal mode, with the occasional blip of Sport mode.

Yeah me too, it actually became steady at 37.3 MPG until I reached my destination. I should also add that it was a clear open highway with no stop and go traffic. As for today, I drove into work with stop and go traffic and still managed to get an average of 28.5 MPG. I commute 45-50 mins away from home on CA freeways.

I only drive on ECO mode on the Highways..

Not sure if these figures paint an accurate picture; they seem skewed to highway driving.

Really wonder what accounts for the differences here; some below 20, some above 30!?

I reset mine 2 weeks ago and now Im down to 10.5 MPG, my range on full tank says 185. I have an appt with the dealer tomorrow. There is no way I am driving that aggressive. Think I have a lemon after reading this thread.

As soon as it got cold here in Chicago my MPG dropped even more.
