Default Tires on new IS 350 F sport

what would be some great tires to replace the OEM tires that come with the new 2014 IS 350 F sport. from what i have heard the tires aren't great and some tires could actually boost your car to give it a better 0-60 or overall control of the car. any recommendations on good performance tires?

Not all tires have the same lip around the edge of the rim.

Michelin har the lip on most tires. It is usually specified when you order the tire.
The pilot super sport have this lip. Not sure about the pilot sport 2\3

now that people have suggested a few options, i suggest doing some old fashioned research, including looking at what hte most expensive super cars come stocked with from the factory. note that dry grip, wet grip, noise, longevity, and ability to maintain high grip over time are all important considerations for me.

i wouldn't want a tire that is marginally better for the first 5,000 miles and significantly worse for the back 10,000 miles for example.

Another vote for the Michelin Pilot Super Sports. They are the best non R-Compound performance tires you can buy and the 300 tread wear rating is an added bonus.

The most expensive supercars usually come with pirellis. But bridgestone are the brand for ferrari 458 so it all depends at the end of the day on which one you prefer
