CEL and TRAC OFF after jumpstarting.
My IS wouldn't start today, I believe it may have been because I left the dome light on overnight.
I jumpstarted it with my other car and now the TRAC OFF light is on (won't turn back off) as well as the check engine light. After driving it around, I parked it turned it off and started it again. The lights are still there. Any ideas? The battery is original at four years 76k kms (~47k miles) on it and I was planning to replace it in the fall as a preventative measure. The car has only one incident of not starting with the previous owner when it sat undriven for two weeks one winter when it was new. It's a 2014 IS 350 AWD F Sport that does not have BSM so I don't think it's the gateway ECU.
I didn't have a chance to check the voltage thinking maybe the car doesn't like low voltage, nor have I hooked an OBD reader to see what the code is. I have the battery disconnected for now hoping it will reset.
Has anyone run into this before? I'm getting a new battery tomorrow regardless.
