In my life time I've seen several fads/trends come, go and come back again. Like afro's, curvy women to slim now back to curvy....white letters on tires. We did that 30-40 years ago. Now I see its returning. I liked it in the past because the tall sidewall tires framed the letters nicely. On low profile tires, it doesn't look good imo.
