Nope, no option on the front plate. Debating on whether I should take it off. There's that stupid law in CA that every car must have a front and back license plate. I guess I don't wanna have to keep paying for fix-it tickets.

Other CA drivers, what's your take? Are you just going to risk the fix-it tickets?

I live in Los Angeles and have never had a plate on any of my IS's. I feel it ruins the look of the car.

This is my car with no plate.

Thank you. I love it a lot. It's a real head turner for sure. The black with red interior sold me the second I saw it. And now that I tinted the windows it looks even better.

Nice pictures dstopsie

Looks really nice with the windows tinted. Where did you go to get them tinted? I also live in LA (Glendale). Looking for someone who would do a good job.

dstopsie, thanks for your great pictures. Particularly I find the one with the front end facing the best shot. Better have clear bra and great detailing to preserve it.

I love the way Starfire Pearl reflects under the lights at night.

Default Picked Up IS 350 AWD FSport

Picked up my new IS on Saturday, one of the first ones in the Vancouver area. It's Atomic Silver with a red interior and it's a beautiful car, in my opinion. It also handles and performs exceptionally well. I'm very pleased.

The only downside so far, if it really is one, is the complexity of the various systems/settings. There's almost too many options and too much information available. I suspect it's a question of becoming more familiar with the vehicle, and probably not having a need for more than a small fraction of what's possible. We'll see.
