I believe that Lexus uses the name badge for recognition purposes as I do not think that they are that well known in their domestic market. In the US, Lexus is widely recognized by its logo only. Someone please correct me if I am misspoken on this.
Correct. The "Lexus" nameplate is not present in the US and Canadian markets since 2011 model year due to brand recognition after 20+ years here. Other markets have the name since the brand is much younger globally.

This too is my favorite color on the FSPORT. Had to go to my dealer on the Fourth of July to return the other key to my Lexus that I sold to them and on the lot they had the nebula gray and they had the silver lining metallic. While both are gorgeous and so is the ultra white but to me the black just completely redefines this car and shows off the lines of it way more beautifully than any other color
I saw a black with black interior and it also is gorgeous but the black with the red just completely blows any other combination to me out of the water.. I will post additional pictures later the beast IS is sleeping now!!
