Haha I currently drive a WRX STI, if it was me I'd go for the 350 as well but seeing as this car will be for her I think the 350 is overkill for her since she drives like a turtle.

I just want to say thanks again for your help, I've learned a lot about leasing!

We will most likely go for the 350/month. Would be nice to go for 300/month but I think that's overdoing it and the dealer is running out of patience hahah.

Thank you again!

2015 IS250 AWD with only premium package (LED lights and heated/ventilated front seats) and a back-up camera. It's only $960 worth of options and I think you'll appreciate the heated seats this time of year.

MSRP-$40,970
Invoice-$38,843
Sale price-$35,970 (includes the $350 rebate)
27 months, 10k
Includes PA use tax (9%)
$350 per month, with nothing but the 1st of 27 payments due at signing (26 remaining)

He didn't want to give me the 2014 with Nav for that price. So he offered to 2015 instead. The price isn't counting the $1000 college grad program either.
Should I take this offer or keep pushing? $300 / month and it's a deal, but if he doesn't give me it stick with the $350/month?
Sounds like a pretty good deal - $5k off msrp is good for an IS250 in PA.

When that college grad rebate is factored in, you should be down to under 310 - your girl's getting a great car for an Accord like payment!

I don't think you'll do much better, even if you wait - you might squeeze another $10-15 if you wait til the weekend.

Sounds like you're close.

Quoted the wrong person earlier lol

Yea I just notice the college grad rebate is a no go since she graduated in 09. Going to see if I can push it down to 300 / month. I just get nervous if I keep waiting too long this deal might be voided.

That's gonna be tough - you'll need to negotiate another $1200 off the sale price. That gets you to about 302.

Arrow Did I get a decent deal?

I just closed on a 2015 IS 350 F-Sport! Purchased in San Antonio yesterday. Anyone care to chime in on my deal?
  • IS 350 (RWD), UW/RR
  • F-Sport Package
  • Blind Sport Monitor
  • VGRS
  • Navi
  • Trunks Mat, Cargo Net, Wheel Locks, Rear Bumper App
  • MSRP: $47,919
  • Price Before TTL: $43,075
  • OTD Price: $46,133

Test drove both the 250 F-Sport and 350 F-Sport and went with the 350. I had a hard time deciding between the ultra white and nebula grey but ended up going with the UW because I fell in love with the color despite knowing it's going to be a PITA to keep clean!

Default Additional services?

By the way, is it worth it to get any of the upgraded services? 8 year, 100,000 mile extended warranty for $2,600? $900 for what I believe was 8 year scratch and dent protection? What about $1,500 for included servicing for 50,000 miles and 5 years? I declined all of them but was told the pricing is good for a week if I change my mind.

Silver/black interior. Not sure what package this would fall under, but has Mark Levinson, BSM...? It was a lease vehicle but the previous guy put an after market intake and exhaust on it which is surprising considering it was a lease in its previous life.

MSRP: $47919
Negotiated price: $43919 ($4k off)
$450 per month for 27mo, $2500 down
73% residual @ 10k miles per year
MF: negotiated the buy rate at .00105

Cheers!

That's a pretty sick deal. You are going to love the car... one of my favorites. Here's our review.

Hi,

I'm currently looking to purchase a new 2014 or 2015 F-sport IS350. I've been emailing a local dealer and this is what they quoted me:

- NEW 2014 IS350 RWD F-Sport UltraWhite / RR
- F-Sport exhaust (+ $2,000 dealer option)
- F-sport cold-air intake (+ $750 dealer option)
- Carbon Fiber wrapped roof ( + $999 dealer option)
- Illuminated door sills (+ $600 dealer option)
- Navi
- ML Audio
- Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
- Backup camera
- NO VGSR/powered telescoping steering wheel

MSRP: $52,576.00
Sale Price: $46,000
Estimated Trade-in: $8,500.00 (2006 Nissan 350Z)
Admin Fee: $75
Title, License, Registration, Processing and Trip Permit: $233.00
Estimated Sales Tax: $3,337.50
------------------------------------------
Balance: $41,145.50

Do you think this is a good deal? Or should I try negotiating lower? BTW - for my same car which I plan on trading in, I've seen it on sale for $13-$15K with the same amount of mileage (and KBB values about $9,900).

Thanks for any help and tips!!!

BTW - there is also a 2015 AWD IS350 F-Sport UW/RR with similar options EXCEPT for the exhaust, intake, carbon fiber roof, and illuminated door sills selling for MSRP $50,200 (I haven't tried negotiating this one yet). Do you think this is a better deal?

Do you really want those almost $4500 in dealer options?

@ bgaerttner - Great question. No, I don't necessarily need those options, but I sure would like them (especially the carbon fiber roof). The thing is, within a 500 radius of where I live, there are only 2 UW/RR IS350 F-sport - the two I just mentioned (the RWD 2014 and the AWD 2015). So it's going to be either one of those, unless some new stock comes in the next couple months.

I just want to know whether or not the 2014 is a good deal (doesn't have to be a GREAT deal). If not, then I can try and negotiate on the 2015 AWD model.

Thanks for any suggestions!

I suspect the reason the 2014 is unsold is because of all those dealer options. They should be more motivated than $6500 off to sell that. I think it would be a pretty good deal at $8500-9500 knocked off - after all, the 2014s are in their second year of depreciation. If you can't get that type of discount, you are probably better off trying to land a good deal on the 2015.

Good luck - let us know how it goes.
