Default 2015 IS250 F-Sport

Hello and thank you ,

I want 36 months/15K miles per year.

He originally quoted me only MSRP $41,930 and after telling him that I saw a lot of people were getting 12%-14% off MSRP he dropped the selling price to $37,189 (11.3% off MSRP). I just checked my FICO score and it is a 750. I already also emailed him to ask about MF. I think with my score it should be pretty darn low correct?

I also don't think that it has a Navi looking at the accessories he listed. It only showed back-up camera and accessory package. I will make sure to say that it must include Navi on my next e-mail.

I tried searching through as many threads as I could to try and find a good deal so that I can try to get the same. There is a broker in CA with 27 years experience that charges $50 to look for the deal and then $200 to close the deal once he finds your car. I wonder if I should do that ????

In my opinion, a good deal on this car would be about $365 a month incl tax with zero drive off out of pocket. Based on:

MSRP: 41930
Selling Price: 36000. (14% discount from msrp)
Net Cap Cost: 36735 (approx 1600 total fees minus about 865 in rebates*)
Residual: 25577 (61%)
36 month/15k miles per year
Money factor after 1500 in 4 MSDs: .00043
8% sales tax

Total fees include 700 Lexus lease initiation, approx 300 DMV, 365 first payment, 80 doc, and a few other minor fees.

Rebates include current Lexus incentives of complimentary first payment and $500 lease cash.

Please let us know how it goes.

is everyone leasing or is this lease only numbers? i havent seen anyones numbers who finance the car?

bought the car with $47,800 msrp. first quote i got from internet sales guy in fl was 43k from msrp so i went in a just grabbed that deal. also had 1k college grad discount ended up with 42k for the car.

then came the financing. i got offered 2.9 percent with a 680 credit score. he would do 1.9 fo 3 years but i think he knew i couldnt afford that. i had to do 2.9 over 5 years. In retrospect it was my first time buying an actual new car and i should have pushed for the 1.9 percent and save like 1k overall but i was a push over.

out the door i payed like 45.5k with interest it's gona be like 49-50k.

monthly is $641 with 10k down.

Sent out emails to all Lexus Dealers within a 300 mile range of my location. As it turn out there are 20 Dealers. Guess time will tell if I get some decent offers.
My thanks to all the contributing members on this forum.

For the purposes of this forum, financing details are pretty much irrelevant because it is so personalized and most of the time people just take advantage of the 0.9% or 1.9% currently being offered. The dealer can subsidize (buy down) the interest rate in which case it would be good to mention, but I don't think that happens much as they'd probably rather reduce the price of the car. Lexus is offering 1.9% financing for 60 months, but it's not clear whether your credit score was good enough to qualify. I would have definitely asked about this but it's too late now.

Congrats on the new car though, looks like you got a great deal regardless!

Ohio seems to have some of the stingiest Lexus dealers...its good that you're broadening your options. Don't be surprised if you can't get deals like the Cali, Texas, Florida people. For this region 8-10% off MSRP would be considered excellent.

Yes it seems like pulling teeth just to get 5-6% off MSRP. The more I read back thru this forum the more I'm thinking about leasing. I own my own business and average around 14k miles per year. I'm not sure why I haven't considered leasing before.
I have been getting some better offers (7-8% off MSRP) from dealers in TN, IL, IN.

They say luxury cars have more room to negotiate when it comes to a lower price.
I can say that dealers in Ontario don't have a great deal of competition so the prices reflect that.

Just bought my IS350F UW/B for 42900 sales price, 47176 OTD on MSRP of 49095, and got free all weather floor mats thrown in. Probably could have gotten another 100-200 off, but was happy with the deal and got the colors I wanted as well. Really wish I qualified for the college grad discount though.

Something seems off. What's the residual, what's your sales tax rate, what sort of dealer fees are they charging you, and does the above sales price include the $500 rebate or no? If I use the standard 61% residual for a 36/15k lease, and a 8.75% tax rate for the numbers you gave me above (using the OH taxation on cap cost instead of payment), plus adding the $700 acquisition fee, and assuming the $500 rebate is already factored into that sales price of $45,510, and also factoring in your security deposits, then my spreadsheet is giving me $514 per month. To get to $530/mo from there, they would be adding an additional $500 in fees somewhere, most likely a dealer doc fee.

I'd double check the questions above first. It doesn't sound like a great deal right now, especially if they are already including that $500 rebate into the sales price - that would be 9% off MSRP including the rebate and I think you can probably do better. I'd go for $44,000 including the $500 rebate since that comes from Lexus corporate. Assuming the same additional $500 dealer fee and all of my assumed numbers from above, that would bring you down to $482/mo. If you can add in more security deposits for 8 total, then you'd be at $455/mo. If you can get them to $44,500 including the rebate then you'd be at $497 or $470 for 4 or 8 security deposits, respectively.

The dealer dock fee was around 500.00 and they have changed the sales price to 45010.00 before the rebate.
The payment now is 491.00 but I also added 4 more SD's for a total of 8 or 4000.00.
My tax rate is 6.5

Your $491 I'm assuming is with 4 MSDs? I'm getting around that with 4 MSDs or around $460 with 8 MSDs. This is a pretty decent deal. 10% off MSRP, or 11% including the rebate. The lucky guys out in CA can often get better, but I think you're sitting pretty good right there. You can maybe try to get another couple hundred bucks off, but this deal sounds very reasonable to me (assuming $460ish/mo with the 8 MSDs).
