36 month / 12,000 miles
$3,500 down, out of pocket including TTL
$604 payment

Still seams high...What do you think? My credit score is 715.
If you insist on trading your car in at this point, I will say again...you are going to pay thousands more for this lease than if you wait. Is the car you are trying to trade a lease?

Also - just curious - are you posting under several user names?

I logged in and noticed my user id was different, did not realize I had two accounts, so I deleted the post from joneric1975. I bought the 2014 is250 for $39k, lien is $32,700.

Here are some better numbers and info....msrp $48,659 // sale price $45,659 // $3500 down/out of pocket // trade in $32,000 // 6.25% Texas sales tax

27month/12k (payment $575)

residual $35,034 / 72%
MF - .00240 // 5.7%

36month/12k (payment $578)

residual $31,141
MF - .00240

I'm shooting to get the down payment to $1,600. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Most folks are reporting 350 f-sport payments of 450-500 with not much up front (maybe $1k). Your current numbers are almost $5k more than that over the term of the lease ($100 per month extra payment plus $2k+ more up front). My advice would be to fight the urge and wait until December - pricing will be much better and you'll have a few more payments paid on your current car. Also, that .00240 money factor is a killer - it's increasing the payment substantially - almost 100 a month just winging it without a detailed calculation.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

so i went the the dealer he told me for a
2015 IS 250 F Sport w/o Nav OTD is 44.9k, this is without me haggling for price or telling him what I wanted and if he can accepted it or not since I told him i wasn't gonna buy it today. You guys think its reasonable to get 40k OTD? I read a couple pages down there were people getting 39.5k for similar but were in cali, im in texas.

Agreeing with drbazing here. I just bought my brand new 2015 IS350 F Sport UW/Black interior with ML and Nav for mid 44k. After taxes it came out to upper 48K OTD.

Don't know about Texas, but around here(DC) they were not willing to budge too much on 2015 models, honestly if you could find a similar 2014 model I'd go for it there are hardly any differences. I think the 2015 F Sport added ventilated seats and other models got standard LED fog lights and Siri Eyes Free.

Do not buy the IS250 F Sport OTD for 44.9k. In fact do not even consider the IS250 unless you won't mind the car not existing in the Lexus lineup starting next year. A new IS200t is replacing the IS250 in 2016.

Other than that reason, you can add about 3k more to 48k to opt for the IS350 F Sport. An IS350 F Sport with navigation cost about 47k. I bought my 2014 IS350 F Sport with Navigation at 45k OTD when it first came out.

IS350 is fun to drive, not just with the 0-60 hitting 5 seconds range, but bigger brakes which has extremely great stopping power. Last but not least, only available in the IS350 F Sport is the Sport+ plus mode with Adaptive Variable Suspension, which is A LOT OF FUN TO DRIVE WITH!

I mean I don't know if you have test driven the IS350 F Sport yet, but do it and especially drive around corners in the streets its so fun to drive! Don't forget to turn on Sport+ mode though hehe

I'm looking at a 2015 350 f-sport.
Ultra White/Black interior
Navi package
Spoiler.

MSRP is $48,XXX.

Would I be out of line to ask for the MSRP OTD? The car was shipped from Japan on 9/26 and is expected to arrive in around 4 weeks...

I have 2 trade-ins - one I own outright, hoping to get at east $22-24k for tradein. The other I am upside down on [2011 Sonata that I've used to commute 140+ miles/day], hoping to only roll over $4k on it....

Any help/input is appreciated.

threefiddy Does it come with Mark Levinson sound? If not, I don't think you should try to get it for MSRP out the door, and negotiate lower about 2k.

If it does come with ML sound I don't think that's unreasonable to ask for the MSRP OTD. I got mine for a little under MSRP OTD here in California with a higher tax rate, so I definitely think you could get it for MSRP OTD. I would definitely try to see if you could get it for around 47-47.9k OTD in Texas. Good luck and let us know how it goes!

Their sales event begins in late Nov, I'd buy then the discounts was 10% for me last year, this west coasters were at 12%. Unless you really need a car now, just wait

I don't see the ML sound on the build sheet. I will be putting a deposit down sometime today- we haven't spoken about sale price yet.

Just a question and an observation - do you want to get the best price on this car? If you do, you might want to change your buying tactics. If I were the sales manager, I'd be happy as heck. You haven't agreed to a price yet but you're ready to put down a deposit - in walks the closer to finish you off. Please - for your sake, negotiate the selling price before thinking about breaking out the checkbook.

Also, if you are near a Carmax, you should get them to appraise the trade value of your vehicles - they are usually pretty accurate on cash value - that way the dealer won't be able to play with the numbers to make you think you are getting a great deal.

Hope everything works out and you get a good price.

so it would be correct to assume from the past few post that the best time to buy is end of November or end of December? Are you really able to save 10% or do you mean you got 10% off MSRP?

I received 10% off my car when I purchased a 2014 IS last Nov, price was done through TrueCar.com
