I don't buy new cars because it depreciates the moment you drive off the lot. I prefer used cars that's 1 or 2 years old bc you'll save more than $10K. I paid less than $30K including tax and fees for my 2014 Lexus IS250 Atomic Silver with only 16,500 miles. The car brand new is like $41K to $42K.

2014 Lexus IS250 Base
Atomic Silver
Black Interior
16,500 miles
Under $30K OTD

Atomic, If it is Base, it should be realistically around $25-28k
I purchased my 2014 Fsport in white for $30k with about 22k on the car.
Where are you located exactly?

Hi All,

I am new to this thread. I'm looking to purchase a new Lexus IS350 F-sport with Navi and ML pkgs. With summer around the corner and new models coming in during late summer, what do you think the dealerships would be willing to take on the car? I've read through a lot of the posts and it seems like a 12% - 14% off MSRP is possible, but that seems to be the limit. Has anyone done better than this? I'm in Northern California if that makes a difference, and I'm willing to purchase from So. Cal if needed.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Btw, I will keep you guys informed about the purchase details (hopefully making the purchase in the next month or so).

Offered $4k off IS200t F-Sport, $43k to $39k with .9% financing...without even negotiating @ Lexus of Nashville. Might offer $37k or wait for the 2017.

He got less miles at a higher tax rate vs your deal. Seems pretty decent particularly if CPO.

Very cool. Did you inquire via email / phone or in person? Thanks for the updates, I'll keep everyone updated as I get closer to making the purchase as well. As of now, I'm just trying to get a rough idea about how to start the process. I'm thinking that contacting the Web sales team is the best option...

All email. It probably helps that they have a bunch still in inventory and I'm inquiring about a "non-standard" color combo, Blue over Stone that they've had for 230 days. Another dealer in the area has a Blue over Black for about the same amount of time.

I expected to hear some news on my Audi TDI today but alas just more delays in the lawsuit. Sadly for now the Blue over Stone IS200t F-Sport with my name on it will just sit there. In the long run I'm probably better off waiting for a '17 if I can live with the even more unusual styling.

Everyone thinks the paying cash brings them a better deal..... Absolutely NO!!!!!!
It doesnt make any difference, as matter of fact, they prefer financing deal

Whether you finance or pay cash , the dealer will obtain the "cash" for the car they sell to you from the financial institute a person financea through

What is the original MSRP? I'm assuming its close to the 49K mark. If so, the prices seem to look pretty good. Do you have other dealerships close by that you can negotiate with as well?

New 2016 IS350 F Sport

-Ultra White/Rioja Red
-ML Sound, Blind Spot Monitor, Radar Cruise Control w/Pre-Collision, Back-up Camera, and Accy Pkg1(cargo net, trunk mat, wheel locks)

Sale Price was $43,500. MSRP was $48,975. Got it over $1k below invoice. Got a pretty smoking deal when everyone else wanted to gouge me for the White/Red Combo.

Been in contact with a dealer in San Diego. Just got this quote:

2016 White/Red IS 350 F Sport

Navigation/Mark Levinson Audio
Radar Cruise Control w/ pre collision
Accy Package

MSRP $48,975.
Asking Price is $44,600
$48,825 out-the-door.

Dealer is telling me this INCLUDES a Transportation fee since the car is located in LA. I need help deciding if this is a good deal or not? From all my research it seems like an okay deal but I can probably get cheaper? Dealer seems really antsy for my business. I am not sure what my next move is? Would I be a fool for taking this deal or should I try and get this cheaper? What should I say? Thanks

Calculate the invoice price at edmunds.com or another website. Then go in at $3k under invoice and you know you have a great deal. Be sure to parse the fees and make sure there aren't any BS fees.
