MSRP $49,980

MF - .00011 (includes 8 MSD's)

36 mos @ 12k - $469

If i pay $2900 upfront for taxes, payment drops to $388.

What do you guys think...can I do better?

I think they can do better - what SELLING PRICE are they basing this on? Is the residual 62%?

I'm thinking you should be around 450 with zero out of pocket if they are offering a decent discount.

I figured that on 8% sales tax and about $1900 in start up fees including the $700 lease initiation. Does MD charge sales tax on the selling price or just the base payment?

One more question - are you trading something in?

Ok - you still haven't provided all needed info but with what you've posted so far, I get a payment of around 426 a month.

49980 msrp
43000 selling price (nice discount)
36 mo/12k miles
61% residual
.00011 money factor
$1900 in total fees (guess on my part)
8% sales tax applied to base payment of 395 (a guess on my part)
Clean deal - no trade in
$500 Lexus lease cash used as drive off

If they are quoting 469, they are padding the deal with something.

Insist on a written, detailed breakdown of the numbers.

Post IS350 F Lease Deal?

Hi all,
I have been reading this forum for about a year now and trying to close on a deal for an IS350 F sport before next year's models hit the floor.

How does this deal look? I walked because they stuck me with the 3210 cap cost reduction after I said I only wanted my MSD's (9) down. Also, is the MF they have there after 9 MSD's LFS' base MF?

Please advise, as this deal expires tonight...

Thanks much in advance for the assistance!!! I am an IS350 fanatic and hope my time has finally come haha

In my opinion, the payment should be less than 399 with that much rebate/cash down and max MSDs - what is the msrp? I dont see it on the sheet - doesn't look like you're getting much discount at all.

I am looking to do a deal this coming weekend (end of the month time) and hoping to score a deal for a IS250 with Nav (MSRP of $42K) for around $275-$285/mo including 8% tax. Does anyone think this is doable given the time of the month and with the new model year rolling in? I'm shooting for around a 15% discount off MSRP. I would just want to do drive offs of acq fee, dmv, etc. which should be around $1200. What do you guys think?

Your market is much different than here in CA. Here you would be getting about a $5-6k discount and with your up front money and MSDs, the payment would be under 300.

What's keeping your payment where it's at is only getting a $2500 discount, the 837 aftermarket add ons, and the whopping 489 dealer doc fee.

If you haven't made the deal yet, insist on a better discount, better pricing on the add ons, and elimination of most of the doc fee. You might be able to get the payment down to 340-350, which, in my opinion, would be more reasonable.

Good luck with the deal.

Edit: just realized you're from AZ - if you can touch base with forum member azmojo, he's gotten a couple decent deals here in CA and registered in AZ.

Thank you for such a detailed response! I am sticking to my guns and let them know I won't budge for anything less than a 400 monthly with only my 9 MSD's down. I have a feeling I will be hearing from them as the 31st approaches

bpguns - good point and right on with the money factor - that's more dealer padding.

Preferred3 - good idea to stick to your guns - that dealer should be able to do better. A 399 total payment with just the MSDs up front would be reasonable and a pretty good deal. In the meantime, consider requesting some quotes from a few CA dealers to see if you can use them for some bargaining power.

If you are able to get a $6k discount and pay $1200 at signing, a money factor of .00075 will get you to around 330 incl tax. If you invest another $2700 for max MSDs, the money factor is reduced to .00003 and the payment is around 280 incl tax. Pretty lofty goal but who knows.
