Price Paid for an IS250/350?

I am not buying into any invoice, MSRP but the patience, research, and fixed budget will help getting lowest price which others have successfully got it and shared in this forum from last year.
Additionally I think it is possible to get selling price 41000 since I got offer - selling price of 42800 in June. So why not in August and December with 41000 ?
In worst case, I can even test drive Lexus IS200t (if it is 80% experience compared to IS350 )then I may end up getting it with even cheaper price.
My current car still running strong as back up one if I never get selling price of 41000.

Deals on 2015s might get better after 9/8 when the current Lexus programs expire and 2016s are hitting the dealers. On a $42k IS250, you'd probably be doing good to get it for $37k plus TTL right now. There doesn't seem to be as many "great deal" postings this year as last. I'm getting the sense (just a guess on my part) that dealers might not have as much excess inventory as they did this time last year. We'll probably have a better idea next month when the new programs come out.

Just got an email from Longo Lexus that they have challenged themselves to sell 825 Lexus in August. Sounds like a lofty goal to me. I would hit them up to see what kind of deals they will do.

Do you have any thoughts on Lexus testing the water with non-negotiable pricing?

It's on their website too: http://www.longolexus.com/
I think if they are serious enough about their goal they'll take any offer where they don't lose money with the right approach... Especially if it's close to the end of the month and they are close.

Personally, I don't usually pay much attention to the "opportunity marketing." You can usually do a good deal better than the advertised specials with some firm, well informed negotiating. However, the golden opportunity event does coincide with the end of the model year so dealers are probably eligible for some cash from Lexus if they meet certain goals.

Sorry, I meant to put the name of the dealer in the post but it escaped me so I updated it. It was Longo Lexus. That's over 27 units every calendar day. That doesn't even seem realistic.

I just recently bought a UW/RR 2015 IS350 F Sport with an MRSP of $49,159. The price was $43,215 and then I had a new grad discount so it was $42,215 for the car!

You might be right - after I made post 2538, I checked some dealer inventories - there's a lot more 250s than 350s available right now so there might be some really good deals possible. $6k off is around 14% off a $42k car, so yeah - very possible.

Looking for your guys' help and advice here. Came back from the dealership yesterday with this (exactly how the paper shows) for a 2015 IS350 F Sport:
MSRP: 47,519
Rebate: 1,500
Tint: 345
Nitrogen: 60
Annual Mileage: 10,000
Trade Value: 34,024
Trade Payoff: 34,024
Residual Value: 26,135.45
Money Factor: .0085
Lease term: 48 months
Money down: 0
Monthly payment: 531
So I'm trading in my 2014 IS250 F Sport that I got with a 48 month 10,000 miles per year lease and currently has 25,000 miles on it. I'm in North Carolina. They don't have the car on the lot but they found two that were in other dealerships they would have to transport. Salesman told me they would not charge me transportation costs. Let me know what you guys think.
