so i called customer service but the lexues special event hotline. they asked me if i had an invation and i said no and that i would like to be invited to the upcoming los angeles event. they told me that its too early since other location event is going on and that call back in early september to be put on a waiting list.
funny that i called to attened the event not to be put on an waiting list.

Lexus Test Driver
Spoke to a guy at the hotline today and he said they are pulling people off the Lexus website "updates" database. That I had to belong to it in order to have a chance. I signed up with that years ago, but no luck. He said there was nothing further he could do. May talk to my dealer now as a last hope. I've been dying to go to one of these since the Taste of Lexus debuted the IS-F back in the day.
hmmm...i guess i gotta wait and see.

i attended the one in early June and used the $1000 Lexus gift certificate already to purchase my 14' 350. The onboard cameras was broken in the timed auto cross and Lexus sent me a $50 gift card. amazing

For L.A., I've called twice and signed up to the Lexus Updates twice. Haven't heard a thingfrom either. I have a feeling it's my AOL blocking the sign up. When one adds themselves to the Lexus Update thing, do you get a confirmation or email soon after? Or any email after for that matter? *crickets*

I did one of the morning events here in Dallas last weekend. Loved it. On our time attack course, our pro driver set a 19.63 and I set the fastest time in our group with a 20.02.
The best part - I won the ride in the LFA. What an incredible machine. I don't think we got over 100, but it gets there so quickly and it stops almost as fast. It was a great time.
Now they just need to find the 250 F Sport model I want and we'll be trading up.
