Default Wheel Measurements 14 IS350

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you....

Wheel measurements, with photos.

Front caliper to hub

Front hub measurement

Front wheel stud measurement

Front

Hub thickness

Hub

And the Rear

Rear caliper to Hub measurement

Rear hub measurement

These were taken off of an IS350 F sport. I took these a few months ago, so I apologize, I don't have the vehicle in possession to go back if anybody has requests for additional measurements. Not to worry though-- I'm sure somebody will have them soon enough

I'm a noob when it comes to wheels and tire size, but my question is (please excuse my noobness) what does each of your measurements mean in wheel terms?

IntegresS - I believe the IS 250 F Sport will likely have some different dimensions though you've now planted the seed for which I can start thinking about afermarket wheels.

I'm still not very good at this myself, so perhaps another more experienced person can chime in? But my understanding is that you need to know the size/length of the hub, and the distance between the caliper to the hub to give you the brake clearance, so that you know how much spacing you've got to work with. Everything of course has to be down to the exact millimeter since that is what the offset is based off of.

Overall, from what we could tell, it looks like the wheels that fit on the current gen IS will work on the next gen IS. But again, I'm sure other members will be able to confirm or deny this quite soon

Thank you

The good news is that any wheel that clears the brake on the 350 will definitely clear on the 250 since the brakes are smaller.

Yes b/c Joe told you The title of this thread clearly states IS 350 so any IS 300h info is irrelevant, its not sold here and the suspension is not built for a non-hybrid car.

In Japan the tuning companies got their hands on IS 300h's first thus why IS 300h suspensions are available there with IS 250/350 coming soon.

Jennifer has been awesome collecting data, we have had an IS 350 F-sport for 2 days and now can tell everyone what wheels and fitment will work and won't work.

You are welcome.
Mike seriously you need to chill out..!!!

A lowered IS is a lowered IS... Which is what I posted in Jennifer's thread..
You don't need to tell me what's different on a hybrid suspension verses a non-hybrid.
I've been R&D'ing on Lexus IS models for over 10 years now.

Also, please don't forget that ClubLexus.com is GLOBAL.. Not just USA based..

Either way you have my phone number... Call it sometime, so we can catch up!!
