i am just coming here to help anyone that has not yet purchased an Awd IS. Make sure your 100% certain that bump is not going to bother you, you need to drive it for at least 15min to 1hr. I can not stand this RIDICULOUS HUMP!! I am seriously SO PISSED about this hump! I can not for the life of me get comfortable in this damn car with that giant bulge right in the way!! The most important thing is your frikken comfort besides safety and reliability, how could they let this happen!!! Im 2 seconds away from dumping this god forsaken car because of 1 SINGLE ISSUE!! I worked my *** off to get this "luxury" car and i cant even get comfortable are you kidding me!? Literally after about 15 minutes my leg and ankle are cramping up, dying to be freed of this misery filled, tilted and crammed position. This is by far THE BIGGEST FLAW in this car and Should Not be taken lightly!! Ive tried different shoes, different seat positions, shoot ive tried no shoes even, with shorts!! Theres no frikken way you could wear average to big sized boots in this car, NO WAY!! What a HUGE LETDOWN LEXUS

Ok, it’s Easter, but resurrecting an almost 8 year old thread?
Drove my AWD IS 125 miles yesterday, and back the same 125 today, didn’t feel the hump at all. But then I’m an old skinny legged guy, maybe if you’ve got muscular or beefy calves, you would find it annoying. If you’re not too tall, maybe try raising the seat position.

The new for 2021 ES 250 AWD model has a much smaller hump on the passenger side.
