So the LED's are integrated into the bumper separately from the headlight?? IDK if i like that...

the rear looks a little like the evo x rear which i happen to like a lot.

It looks cool, I do prefer the 2nd gen IS front end tho but looks cool none the less

IDK why the LED has to the Nike swoosh. There are many ways to make it but why Nike?

That sounds like a typical car salesman, everything is great, lol, here is your last chance to see it before June. lol, We have seen it alot in video lol

All kidding aside, but why does the electronic temperature controls seem to get so much attention, seriously I don't see that as ground breaking. I wish it was a rotary dial instead of leaving oils in places it doesn't need to be. In this video, the navigation screen really looks small more so than other videos I've seen.

Does the ipad mini camera really take this poor of video? 320 resolution?

I wonder if it works with gloves on. It really seems more of a gimmick than functional. I normally adjust the temp in my car only one or two degrees. It looks harder to do that with the slider than a simple dial or up/dn switch.

Yes I don't see why they allocated all that space for the nav screen then made the display so much smaller.

Yes it works with gloves on. You just have to push down a little. For 1 or 2 degrees you can use the up and down arrows as well.

I dont like the electrostatic switch concept but the video does show him tapping the top and bottom to increment 1 degree at a time.

Regarding the real estate given to the Nav screen vs its current size, I have a feeling the 12.3" in the GS (option) will evnentually be an option here. Just not yet.

I am waiting patiently (and hopefully) for the next ISF - hope they have the 12.3 by then.

Do you know if Lexus will be offering the IS F-Sport in AWD? I heard no and that would be a shame for those of us who live in snow country.

I shot this video at the end of what would be a 14 hour work day. I felt I was lucky that Lexus told me I could shoot pics and video of this prototype. Who cares about the video resolution. Noob it out somewhere else. I am not a salesperson either. I am a technology specialist(amongst other things), and I know more about this and other Lexus vehicles than most people out there. The climate control is cool, no pun intended, and I think looks great as a part of the console. Just my opinion. If you want a rotary dial, go get a BMW or Mercedes, or just get a Mazda, you deserve it. Lexus is trying to give customers like you what they want as well as marketing to a larger group of people. I love how people love to give"insight" to certain features. Tell you what, go to school, become an engineer and then work for Lexus and change all the things you don't like about it. It is people like you who have no idea how a business like this is run or who Lexus customers actually are.

LexusVTS44 thank you for the video! The more videos I see the more I really want to buy the newIS. I had an opportunity to visit with a specialist like you and he really had me fired up to see, feel, and drive the newIS. Please keep bringing us any news you get. Thanks again!
