Are you sure thats not a sale trick? I have seen some 4 gen GS here with quite amount of hairline scratches on the clear coat comes from car wash. No way it has self healing paint. They have not mention this on the presentation on IS or new GS.

Lexus europe has selfhealing paint on the LS, GS and now IS.
Some EU spec cars has it as an optional extra equipment, the cars in Norway has it as standard equpiment.
If it is avalible on any of the US spec cars, I do not know.
How well it works, i have no idea about.
It may just be a gimmic for a paint that is a tad more solid than standard toyota paint.

Speaking just prior to the Tokyo motor show, Lexus Australia boss John Roca says the self-restoring topcoat is extremely resistant to everyday surface scratches and can also heal them.
The paint – which will be on the LS 600hl and also on the LS 460 – contains elements that give it more denseness and elasticity, and results in it rebonding when small scratches are inflicted.

Its not in US but in rest of the world... probably too expensive for US.

I have learned a lot from the DIY projects in the past.
In the past few days, there were many Lexus owners in Japan who visited the showrooms, took test drive and showed the pictures in their blogs there.
If you want to see F-Sport with real leather seats (memory +ventilated+heated functions) option, here it is..

The best part about the photos there (minkara) is they reveal a lot of fine details about various aspect of the car.

Yeah and also with those LED fogs I'm actually liking the F-sport bumper more than the regular models now. The blue F-sport with the red interior especially is just hotness.
