I really like my 2011 IS350 F-Sport and I'm not a big fan of all of the spindle grille designs (looks better on some of the Lexus models than others). If I like the 3IS I might trade it in when there is a mid-cycle refresh and/or engine changes. I would like it in RWD but where I am, we'll probably only get AWD.

I'll probably be waiting for a V8 powered 4GS to end up in the used market if they'd ever get one together. That or I will need to look toward an IS-F.

No, the center console & center dash do not appeal to me.

I'll be going with an Audi A5 most likely....I'll wait and see if the IS coupe appeals to me.

Why Audi, I know they set the mark with LED headlights, but other than that they're not that appealing to me. This is IMO, but to stay on topic what makes that model more appealing than the IS. I just don't see it or maybe I need to watch more Transporter movies, because it really makes it seem like its FINE GERMAN ENGINEERING....

Well, most people believe that Audi has that "Aesthetic". While I never find aesthetic in any Audi except R8, I still respect what other people think... to a certain extent. VW and Audi design languages are really similar, I don't find any of their boxy design appealing at all. Cadillac, in other hand, did a really good job with the new ATS. It's also on the top of the hill with the new 3 series in term of handling. Hopefully, IS will be there on the top with the new 3 and ATS.

Audi Q5 looks really nice in person. I wish Lexus had something smaller than the RX350

because the a5/s5 looks dead sexy....don't get me wrong, I really like the lines of the 2nd gen IS...maybe a little tall and bulky, but still very nice looking. What I really want is the Audi looks with toyota/lexus reliability.

i was sure that i would want IS300h and trade in... lose a lot of money in process... and I love everything but those front lights right now... if i get used to them or if they look even just OK in real life, i will probably trade... because i love all the improvements and interior. They address every single bad thing about IS with IS300h.

Nope. Not feeling the new front end with the separate DRL's. Just looks weird imho.

250 gets updated transmission, 350 gets 8 speed transmission.

IS300h hybrid for non-us markets.

I am waiting for the Lexus NX series suvs before making any sort of next car decision. My 2IS has been great to me, so I'm in no rush to get rid of it

If i *had* to get a new car soon, i'm not sure i would jump in the 3IS just yet. Need to see it in person and am hoping a hybrid version comes to the states!

EDIT: just saw spwolfs post about no hybrid in the states. Well that blows
