Picked up my new 2016 IS350 F Sport 2 AWD in atomic silver and red interior. I've been driving Acuras for the last 15 years, but Marie An at Lexus of Oakville made my wife and I a deal we couldn't refuse. I was eyeballing the Acura TLX hard. It doesn't have the power and style of an F Sport, but Acura has way better tech in the cockpit. One thing led to another, and I'm a Lexus dude now. 👍
I caught the New Car Itch a couple months ago and wanted to get the best combination of Luxury, Sportiness, Style and Practicality. I wanted all of this while not having to worry about maintenance issues and economical gas mileage. The basic, have your cake and eat it too situation.
I was on the fence between BMW, Lexus, Audi and Cadillac. After seeing Lexus edge out the BMW with the 2014 Redesign on many reviews, I became obsessed with the Model. I didn't even bother to test drive the other models after hearing 1st hand the horror stories of the SEVERE repair/maintenance cost and how this was almost expected. The Lexus Brand has always set the tone for reliability, I have ZERO experience with Lexus, but the Horror stories were virtually non existent with the brand vs being the norm with the others.
But, I really became a Fan and was sold after seeing all the Luv and Support on these pages. The feedback, the pointers, the knowledge, but more importantly the sense of Family on here made the decision easy. Looking forward to interacting with all of you and posting updates as they come along.

This past Saturday I went to the Lexus in San Jose and intended to get a 2013 GS 350 F Sport in Nebula Gray but felt like it was too big for me and had a bumpier/sportier ride than I expected... Long story short, I walked by a 2014 IS 250 F Sport in Obsidian and went home with it! I couldn't be happier!! It is so fun to drive compared to my last 1999 Honda Accord Coupe...
Got my windows tinted today with Llumar CTX with 50% front, 20% back/rear windows. I know some people aren't too fond of the high contrast, but I prefer a lighter front window and loved how it came out.
Picked up a 2016 Nebula Gray Pearl/Rioja Red IS 350 F Sport almost two weeks ago. First Lexus I've owned after having two BMWs over the past 5 years ( '08 328 and '11 335i). Car is a blast to drive and a hell of a lot more comfortable. Looking forward to many years of fun (and reliable) ownership .
