Default PTS- JoeZ Series Full Exhaust R&D-Prototype version for AWD

I traveled down to LA this last weekend to help out PTS & Joe Z with the early stages of making an X-pipe for the 2014 / 2015 AWD. So it can sold as a full system in conjunction with their Axle muffler sections.

It was great to get to meet these guys and be able to help them out with my car... I know it is the early stages of it being built here in the US, and we will soon see this available from them. I am very excited to get it.

They were all very helpful and accommodating and it was fun to see what is in the works from them.

I can't give a timeline on when it should be done, I can just say that it will be soon.

For now I went from the F Sport exhaust to the PTS-JoeZ Axle back only and I am very happy with it. I actually prefer the sound of the PTS-JoeZ.

I will be posting some videos of it soon. Also am very excited to finish it with the remaining X-pipe & Mid-pipes when the production version is completed.

So major props to Joe Z and Crew....

This all started with Larry and his thread....

Any idea of the gains?

Did you do a dyno before?

What'd you do with your F Sport exhaust?

How does the sound compare to the F-Sport exhaust? Thats my current setup and I feel the booming in-cabin drone around 2000-2500 RPMs is a little too much for me. Is JoeZ more subtle? Is it a drone or more of a growl? Would def love to hear some videos.

I'll post a video today, I think in the cabin it's not too aggressive especially in that range. The main time you really hear it is when you really lay into it, but that's why I bought the exhaust.

so only main difference with RWD is that bump on one of the exhaust banks, the flanging is different too to accommodate the shaft going back to the front

Here is a video of the exhaust.. pretty hard acceleration and then cruising at about 75mph...

Yes, it just had to be routed around the tranny for the AWD. If that makes sense

That's what I was hoping for with the F-Sport exhaust. I didn't think Lexus would make a system so loud, so I was surprised after installation.

I really only want a subtle growl/purr when I lay into it, as you say.

Video sounds really nice. Doesnt seem ricey or obnoxious. Would love to hear in cabin, too!

Thank you for sharing. I am really looking forward to this. Any cabin drone when cruising with rev below 2500 RPM? I don;t mind the exhaust being louder above 3000 RPM, but if there's cabin drone then my OCD is gonna kill me lol.

You know I don't really notice much drone at all, I can honestly say I have music on most of the time when I am in my car though, not super loud, but it is on... I will try to record a video of the interior sound..
