Just ordered my IS 350 F-sport
Hey guys first post here and have a few questions before the car comes in.
What is the expected delivery time on these coming from japan? How long is the estimated break in time before i can dog it out? What are some general tips I should know about the car for a first time Lexus owner?

I almost did a custom order but was told the lead time was going to be 4 months and I didn't have that kind of time frame. My previous car developed a serious issue with the engine and was cost prohibitive to repair so I opted for something on the lot.
I wouldn't "dog out" ANY car until you put at least 500 miles on the clock. Remember to vary the RPM as much as possible without going anywhere near the redline. The paddle shifters can come in handy for this even though I think paddle shifting is kind of silly in this car. I have the AWD 350 so I have the 6-Speed tranny. It does an excellent job on it's own determining the shift points and once you really "learn the pedal" you can add some additional control.
