Default Will those wheels fit? START HERE.

Took the idea from the 2IS thread. Lets start one for our 3IS!

This thread is the result of merging over 100 threads on the same topic - will these wheels fit on my IS? Feel free to ask any questions you may have on whether your specific wheels will fit on the 2IS, but please search this thread first - as you can see, there's plenty of information here already.

I'll Start, my 3IS is currently on RS*R Super Down springs. I recently got 19x9.5+22 rims all around and am debating what type of tires to get. I've asked a few people and most told me to do 225/40/19. Any thoughts on what best tires i could put to fit? Thanks ahead of time!

Subscribing to the thread because I'm looking for a set up as well.

Great idea for a thread! Can we start by mentioning the stock offset?

I'd suggest posting pics as well with specs to maximize the use of this thread.

Was able to get the 19x9.5 +22 square to work with a little bit of fender modding

will I be able to fit 19x8.5 et22 in the front? I will be dropped about 1.5" eventually...

If not, what is the lowest offset I can run with 19x8.5 and 235/35/19 tires?

I was able to fit 19x9.5+22 and still be alble to tuck on air. So that should be no problem

Bumping this thread, rather than clogging the board with another "will this fit."

I'm still hunting around for the perfect setup for my AWD. I really wanted to have 30 series sidewalls on all corners, but ran into rolling diameter issues if the front and rear were staggered. So, after messing around with a tire size calculator, it seems like a square setup would still work with the AWD, correct? Something like 235/30/20 on 9" wheels. Slightly disappointed that i wouldnt have as wide a tire in the rear, but i really want to avoid a 35 series tire in the front on a 20" wheel.

Just wanted a second opinion from the board! Still educating myself on mathematical side of wheels and tires.

A nice calculator:

Also, can someone post stock bore size & bolt pattern as well?

Are you lowered? If so, springs or coils?

I'm on J5 coilovers. Would like to keep it pretty low, as long as the 235 tire in front can clear the fender.
