Hey All,

I am thinking about picking up a 2014 IS 350 AWD F-Sport. I was planning to go in aggressive asking for $43k-$44k and hoping to end up around $46.5k, but it seems like I might be able to do better. This will be my first new car purchase/lease, therefore I really don't know what to expect in terms of negotiation room. I would love any feedback and suggestions.

Just wanted to add my stats. Purchased the IS 350 F Sport during the last week of March 2014 in Los Angeles.

Color: Nebula Pearl Gray w/ Black Interior
Upgrades: Pretty standard configuration; with Mark Levison Audio/Navigation
Price Paid: $42,750 before taxes, title etc.

Car drives superb and enjoying the ride!

ok so I've been calling around dealerships and decided to just stick with an IS250 instead

how is that for a deal? I've seen some go for $39k but not sure if that's the OTD price

Never negotiate the price before taxes and fees. It means nothing as you don;t know how they'll hit you with fees. Ask them what info they need to give you OTD price. usually zip code to calculate taxes.

Some would lower the priuce more if they give you a bad value on your trade sso I wanna make sure it;s not the case.
