Default TPMS question

I have a 2014 Lexus IS350 Fsport. My question is that does the TPMS sensor location matter ? I'm looking to swap out wheels. So do i have to put the sensor in the same place as the oem wheels ? for example if i take out the Left front wheel sensor from the oem wheel, i need to put it on the left front new wheel ?

Yes, you need to put them back in the same locations unless you want to pay a visit to the dealership or have a friend with Tech Stream and a cable. The IS requires that the TPMS Sensors are programmed into the ECU for each tire/wheel location.
