Default Erase garage door memory setting

Title. How do I go about clearing the garage remote memory in the rear view mirror? Apparently resetting the battery doesn't do it.

If my memory serves me, the owners manual says to hold down all three pre-set buttons for like 5-10 seconds and an LED will flash or something.

Usually it's just the two outer buttons (1 & 3).
