I'd say get it to a Lexus dealer ASAP and let them to figure it out. Then worry about who's going to pay for it. Don't think I'd want body shop fiddling around with it.

First off, did this accident get covered by the person that hit you or was it a hit and run? If it was the offending party's insurance covering the damages, contact that insurance company and tell them about your experience. If this is one of their preferred shops, they have a higher standard they have to maintain to keep their status with the insurer. With that said, hopefully they're on your side and they tell the body shop to fix the issue (whether in-house or having it taken to Lexus for a repair).

I'm leaning towards some sort of electrical issue that they caused during the repair work.

Was your car driven to the shop for the repairs OR was it flat-bedded to their shop?

this happend to me when i modded the area in wheel wells on my car to get lower. there is a ground strap on the inside of engine bay on drivers side up by windshield area, kinda on the area close to break booster. see if its loose or not connected. i had same issue where nothing would work just like your concern now and then after back tracking what we did i remembered that ground. i put it back on and then car started right up.

not saying thats the issue u have but it solved mine. Good luck!

The insurance companies declared it a "No Fault" accident because they could not determine exactly who hit who. I was on my lunch break at work driving in the right lane on a 4 lane road and was coming up on a slow car in the left lane when the truck that hit me decided that he could shoot that gap and get in front of me. Well, he didn't make it and his tail end hit the front side of my car. We were doing about 40. No injuries. He claimed I hit him. I went back and forth with the insurance company trying to show text messages that I was in the right lane and was turning right to go visit a friend in about 500 feet. It was very unfair.
For the future, a dash cam could help prevent these types of shenanigans from happening.

First at all, check the ground. Second, check your alternator. Sound like your alternator is out

Update:

I have my car back and it looks great. I waited a month to get into one of the highest rated shops in Nashville and even though I encountered a fair amount of trouble they did take care of me in the end.

Thanks for all the help guys.

question, what body shop was it? I'm in Nashville, and need to know who to avoid. Also glad to hear it all worked out!
