Post Finally Got My Lexus!!! <3

So... Well, I recently got a 2008 IS 350 for $11,900. Has 98,000 miles on it! Super EXCITED!

So far I took it to a Lexus dealership and had a pre-purchase inspection done. Everything checked out. Even got an oil change while I was at it just for kicks. Question is...Do you think it would be wise to go ahead and change the transmission fluid?...Or just ride it out? Anyway...Feels good to be part of the family.

Goes to show there are still some good deals out there to be had on these 350s! Good buy!

First thing first, create a log-in and PW on Lexus.com and view all of the previous Lexus dealership maintenance on the car. Looks super clean though!

Welcome!

I know right! I was like..wow that is a really cheap deal! Especially for the miles. Traded my Nissan Rogue in for it. The Lexus Had 2 owners, no accidents, clean paper trail... ALOT of info on oil changes and basic maintenance. They also did the recalls as well.

Headlights look great. Minor detail I know, but no oxidation is great. Good buy.

Congratulations on the car! You're going to love it. Take it to a back road if you get the chance.

As for the transmission fluid, as long as you're under ~110k-ish or so you should probably change it. The sooner the better.

Thanks! I will make sure to look into changing it within the next month or two!
