I picked mine up about a month ago, it wasn't very hard to find here in CA. I'm just very picky and it took a while to narrow down to something I liked. I got it with 150k but the owner was a commuter and babied it and also had all paper work for it. I got a total steal, absolutely loving the car.

How much did you pay for it? What color?

Yep 2011+ IS350 is also rare in Toronto Canada especially AWD, there are 2 left on autotrader list but the price is ridiculously high and they are not top, i'm planning to sell my 2011 IS350 AWD top of the line, all options available + Mark Levinson audio DVD system mint condition 150,000k in km, i might sell it if i get a decent offer.

I was on a budget, but knew I wanted a 350 and not the 250. I live in Philadelphia, and had the hardest time finding a 350 with what I wanted. Since being on a budget, I went for an older model 350 in a rear wheel drive. I specifically wanted black on black, with the Mark Levinson stereo. Had to fly down to Louisville KY to a Lexus dealer and drive the car back. Looking back, instead of getting an 06, I should have spent 10k more and gotten a 2011 or 2012 with the AWD. Still a great car in the rear wheel drive and for the price I paid, can’t beat it.

Wow thats crazy, if I was single and had more time id consider flying out for a car lol. I really still love my 250 and if it was a 350 id never consider selling. I dont know, I have to do a little more research and test drive the G37 coupe. They are several grand cheaper and with 30 more hp. Im not looking to spend a lot because I already have a daily driver. This is just a little toy for me to take out and play with on the weekends.

I had to drive about 2 hours away to buy my 350 as well.. Rear wheel drive cars aren't as popular in the northern states and Canada because of the snow obviously.. finding only RWD 350's is very difficult. I was looking at one about half an hour away and someone bought it before I did.. although it worked out in the end because the one I found was better all around.. Got a good trade in on my 250 so I was happy about that as well. Keep looking you will find one eventually.. being able to fly to a different state is an option i guess haha

I do agree. When I bought my 350 awd 2011 last year, they was only 3 choices on used car websites. Finally found 1 loaded (luxury package), 60 000km for 23 000$ CAD (clean title). This was about 5000$ lower than the 2 others. I Was very lucky...

I hear you on that. In WA state, once they introduced the 2011 IS350 available in AWD, the dealerships here no longer stocked IS350 in RWD regularly; they only stocked a few IS350 in AWD. I wanted RWD so the dealership had to buy one from another dealership in another state and ship it here.

For the third-generation IS though, the dealerships here started regularly stocking some IS350s in both RWD and AWD again.

At this point I believe 2011+ are not yet on the recall list.

Jeff

I have a 2011 and I got my recall alert about a year ago. The are getting the older and southern cars first.
