I figured someone would say that. I've done a good job of maintaining and regularly servicing the vehicle in my opinion. I recently pulled a CarFax history report and saw the repeated reports on this car of overheating/cooling. When I pulled the water pump there was evidence of an attempt to JB Weld a crack. Either way the car is running fine now after flushing cooling system and replacing the water pump, thermostat, and radiator cap just to cover all my bases. Will be purchasing a new IS in March. Trading this one in and letting it be someone else's problem.
