Default After replace alternator, "Check Air Conditioner" on

I have a 2008 IS350, 140k miles. Last week replaced alternator, after that, outside temperature was 50-60 degree and I turn on AC, set 80 degree. My navi screen showed "Check Air Conditioner". If I go to climate screen, the AC is blinking. How can I fix this AC issue?

Reset your Ecu again. If problem still there, you have to remove the whole Navigation unit. Sound crazy but trust me, It works.

No, You would have to remove the whole unit. Sound really weird but trust me. I'VE been through it.
1. remove the whole unit- you have to remove every connectors, reset the ECU won't clear out Navigation memory completely.
2. Plugged it back in, turn on your ACC - verify everything is good.
3. Reset your ECU one more time to let the ECU and NAV unit sync up together.
4. Start the car and check if everything working perfectly

After I did that, it still showed "check air conditioner" but it only take me once to restart my car.

Hey I am having the same issue.
I just had my alternator replaced on my 07 IS250 and i went to see the mechanic who has replaced my alternator and the belt and he says that there's nothing wrong on his part of work.
He did a further investigation and told me that something is wrong with the ECU and i need to get it replaced which sounds like a BS to me.

Did you fix your problem yet?

No, I'll disconnect Navi and ECU again this weekend. And I won't replace ECU, it's just an error code.

This is odd. Since yesterday, I was driving to work and back home, the battery icon was blinking for a while and off. 2 weeks ago, no warning sign until yesterday. Don't know what's wrong.

I'd take it to a local auto parts store to get it checked out. Not sure where you got yours but I believe the one I got was a refurbished unit from auto zone. Slight chance but you may have gotten a bad one.

This is not a reset problem. When they replacing my alternator, they broke some wiring to my AC compressor. I spent $560+ to have dealer fixed it.
