So, intermittently, I'll get some days where I can get sound no problem from my radio / control beeps from my speakers. Other days, nothing. The radio turns on and shows me that everything is working, just no sound. I've read that this has to do with moisture in the amplifier. Can anyone confirm this? Any workaround to get it to function properly again?

You mentioned exactly what I was about to suggest. Looking for moisture around the amp area in the trunk. Remove all connections from the amp and remove the amp from the trunk. Any moisture or rust from a build-up of moisture present on the amp itself OR in the area where the amp sits?

I pulled the trunk trim piece above the amp to look at it, felt around it and didn't feel any blatantly obvious wet or see any. I need to pull it and examine the guts for condensation / corrosion...

I have noticed better reliability from the amp since I pulled the trim piece though, thinking the amp has better ability to breathe now.
