Hey guys I have a 09 IS250 and when I went to start it up it would not start. It did have a click sound when you hit the push to start. There was no sound and no power when I hit the button for the gas tank and trunk nothing. I don't know what wrong, I check my oil and I still had some oil on the stick and I know its due for an oil change. However when I was getting a jump I noticed that the car came to life when they connected the jumper cables but it still would not start it was silent. The battery is fairly new its less than a year old maybe 9 months old if I remember correctly. If you all have any ideas or suggestions please let me know so I can get my car back on the road.

I would still suspect that your battery is dead. try another car to jump start, and ensure your battery terminals are tight.

If the car cranked while you were being jumped I would say you need a new battery. If you can get someone to hook up jumper cables and wait 10 minutes before you try to start it you might get it running.

So when the jumper was connected, you had power (dome light, HVAC controls, etc), but won't start...even on the jumper?
