What have you uncovered? I've not researched anything about the new gen yet; only how much they're going for.

I have to say though, I've seen problems with all of my choices. Fluid leaks and phantom CELs on the Focus RS, oil pump issues on the GT350, too much power on the Roush Stg II Mustang with no supporting clutch or other components, and a general bit of everything on the C7 Vette. New cars, new problems I guess.

Here's a link to the forum, http://www.camaro6.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=257

Common issues,

Converters / Transmissions
Terrible paint and body from the factory
Issues with the EFM
Differential issues
Misc, thuds, rattles, vibrations,
etc, etc, etc..

I mean, its a lot of car for the money, people say good things about the way they drive. I would be worried every time I started the car.

Thanks! I'll definitely do ALOT more research before any purchase, but could this be first model year issues being ironed out? Most manufacturers have some first year issues.

My next car is sadly not even on the market yet. We have the IS350-C and we absolutely love it. We're waiting on Lexus to wow us with a new hardtop convertible. Hopefully they release the LF-C2 concept because I can't afford the LS500 (at least not until it's a few years old).

I went from a Mazda 3s to IS250 and I'll never buy another car like a Mazda. My 250 is smooth and has all the bells and whistles. Except for the struts are bad in front but I'm getting them replaced Monday. I've been on the internet to much the past week buying stuff for it. My wife says she feels neglected now😂😂😂

Most likely. The first model year is always prone to things breaking and not working properly as well as possible recalls on various parts because of new technology and such. If you're going to buy one, make sure it is at least the second year.
