Hi ClubLexus,
I've just bought a 2008 6spd IS250, and I have some questions about its fitment for parts. I was hoping one of you guys could please help me out.
Mine is a LATE 2008 model, so it has the refreshment, with the side mirror indicators and thicker grille.
Firstly, I was wondering if I got an OEM 2008 F Sport Grille, if it would fit right into my Prestige model, or if I would have to get a whole new bumper? I can't seem to find any F sport grille fakes that fit my car.
Next, is there a part like this:

Which would fit my '08 IS250?
I have many plans for it, but am struggling to find the right information about it. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

No the grille would not fit, you'd need to find the 2009-2010 FSport grille which are hard to come by.

No in order to use those lips, you need to buy have the f-sport bumper 11-13. I have the same car as you, except mine was a sport package with the split front lip.



Lysis already stated it but finding an fsport grill for the 09-10 is effin impossible.

I went and upgraded to the 11-13 fsport, which is the fsport front bumper, fsport upper grille and grille surround, fsport lower grille, fsport lips (which you posted from ebay) and emblem and newer fog lights

Mikey, your lexus is literally exactly how I want mine to be. It's perfect. Does a 11-13 f bumper fit right onto our cars? And in total, how much did you spend to convert the front end to look like that (If you dont mind me asking)? Also, where can I buy those parts, I live in Australia so it seems a bit harder to find these parts. Thank you so much, and i can't get over how perfect your car is.

Thanks for the kind words! I shotyou a PM with ideas on sourcing a front end if you cant find anything local.

Everything bolts right up, may have to get new fender liner (or use heat to mold yours) and maybe trim your headlight bumper brackets a bit.

Damn that sucks! Lexus quoted me $448 AUD for the F-Sport grille today

How much are you spending on upgrading your front?

RR racing has this . Yes I know its not an fsport grill. But it is a 2008-2009 grill. I hope this helps.

I think for now I'm just going to get the F-Sport grille done. I can't find a 2011-13 front end and I assume if I asked Lexus they'd quote me a ridiculous number, like $3-4k AUD without labour. Also Mikey, did your Lexus come with a strange looking tow bar at the back? Mine did and thats the other thing I want to do next, remove that.But I am worried that there will be a hole looking thing in the back of my car if I remove it.

youve got a toe hook in that back? No i dont have that. Do they have any lexus salvage yards there to find a replacement?

And hell...you find a good cheap method to ship and ill sell you my front end
