is250, MY2008, 130,000km
i want to change the atf from the drain bolt and fill from the fill hole the same amount, and repeat this procedure about 5-6 times to refresh the transmission fluid.

1. How much atf going out from the drain bolt in the is250?
2. how much fluid is going out when removing the pan?
3. How much fluid is in the whole transmission?
4. Is it different amount from the is350?

You can expect up to about 2.5 quarts. Just depends on a few different things (car on Ramps, drain length,etc)

Don't remove the pan until the very last time you do this procedure (if you decide you still want to remove it). Then you could clean it out and inspect everything else.



IS250-Capacities: 6 speed A760H Total Fill 7.5 quarts/7.1 liters

IS250 -Capacity for the 6 speed A960E is: Total Fill 9.4 quarts/8.9 liters


For the IS350 6 speed A760E Total Fill is 7.5 quarts/7.1 liters

1. How much atf going out from the drain bolt in the is250? Just did mine this week; first drain netted only 1.75 qts. The following two netted 2qts.
2. how much fluid is going out when removing the pan? Very similar amount as to when you would just drain via the drain bolt; but I'm sure it'll be slightly more with the entire pan containing some residual ATF.
3. How much fluid is in the whole transmission? 7.9 qt. (7.5 L, 6.5 Imp. qt.) <--RWD
4. Is it different amount from the is350? 8.3 qt. (7.9 L, 6.9 Imp. qt.) <--RWD
