Default 3D files for customization

I am planning to do some minor customizations to my 2007 IS250 which will require me to make some custom parts. I thought these things could possibly be useful to others here so I am putting up this thread to collect the design files, drawings, etc... for others.

First up is a 3D printable switch blank. This fits in the switch panel beside the steering wheel with the fuel door switches. Obviously you will need a 3D printer or access to one. I included the Sketchup source files so that it can be customized for whatever switch, LED, USB or audio port, ****, or whatever you want to do with it. I recommend printing in PLA so the clips remain flexible. ABS is a bit brittle for this application.

You can find the files here: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2011345

I don't have a photo with it installed yet because I am having some issues with my printer right now making reliable prints. I did print it out and compared dimensions with the OEM blank.

Next up is a blank panel to replace the ashtray in the rear of the center console. You can either print this, or use the dimensions to cut it out of some 1.5mm thick plastic.

I am planning to install another power outlet and USB charging port in place of the ashtray.

You will need to remove the trim, and then snap out the entire ashtray assembly. This panel will sit flush inside the opening and look like it belongs there. I am sharing a blank panel so that others can customize it however they want.

This one isn't mine, but it is a shift **** adapter which converts the M8x1.25 shaft to a M12x1.25 shaft which is typical for universal aftermarket shift *****. It is threaded both internally and externally for a secure fit.
