It would not even make an attempt to restart (no crank). Even if it was a bad crank sensor that would not cause the car to just die right? It really is driving me crazy not having a code or any idea at this point. Heck, let's not rule out a bad ECU either? I mean I really just don't know.

Yeah, I suppose the only way to figure it out would be to watch live data. That way would have a glimpse of what is occurring at the moment it shuts off. Well let us know what you find. If everyone posted their solutions we would have a nice data base of possible fixes.

Looks like they diagnosed it to be the fuel pressure sensor so they are going to replace that as well as the fuel rail assembly which I believe you have to purchase as a single part now if memory serves. I talked to them on the phone but couldn't get all the details at the time and told them to send me all of it via email. They did say they were able to pull a code that led them to that. Sounds plausible from what I was experiencing.
