Default 2006 IS350 Headlight Suggestions

Does anybody have any good LED strip aftermarket headlights they would recommend?

I was looking at these ones but I'm skeptical about the quality.

If your car has AFS you'll want to avoid those lights.

I drive a 2006 so I think i do have AFS. Am I able to disable it? What headlights do you recommend for cars with AFS?

If your headlights move up and down when you start your car , you have them. Im not too sure what dolks have done for their headlights if they swap the AFS lights for aftermarket. I think that I read it will trigger a light but once again I am not 100% sure. You can do a retro fit of your existing lights as well.

A 2006 IS with factory HID will have AFS. (though the warning light can be extinguished by removing a fuse). The eBay headlights that the OP posted specifically says right in the listing that it isn't compatible with factory HID. It doesn't have a ballast, and is designed to take H7 halogen bulbs, not D4S HID. I suppose one could use it with an H7 HID conversion kit (i.e., not using the factory ballasts and lights), though I'd be concerned that the beam pattern may be worse than stock.

Thats what drew me to these headlights. I personally hate afs and the moving headlight concept

Also, these had a sharper line than the oem hids once balanced and focued

Actually quite the opposite. I've bought both OEM and these ebay lights, and they are quite on par with OEM

So for the love of god please don't post crappy opinions

Lol I highly doubt that but go ahead and keep thinking oem and eBay lights give you same light output, sharp cutoff line and distance. That's actually pretty funny.

I have been searching the forum but still have yet to determine if an HID harness connector will allow for the use of Halogen harness connectors. I can appreciate the fact that HID is superior, but when you are looking at double the price to replace both assemblies, sometimes that level of superiority can be trumped by a more inexpensive alternative. If anyone knows, I am only looking for an answer to my original question and not opinions on which one is better or why. Thanks!
