Default Potential new buy '08 IS350

Hello everyone, i've been lurking for a while doing some research on is350's and i may have come across one i like. I would like some of you guys' input, thanks in advance fellas!

here is a link to the car
http://www.victorymotorsva.com/2008_...265847511.veh#

08 is 350, 51k miles. asking 17.7 but i may get them to be able to come down more. the service history states that the touch screen doesn't work and there's 10 scratches on the car. I think its the basic package.

here are the service history reports, what's your guys opinions? 1 owner. clean carfax. thanks!!

there is a DIY fix on the touch screen, only have to replace the digitizer, not the entire unit

Seems like a good buy. I love one owner , low mileage cars. Clean carfax to boot. Where is the car from? I avoided cars that were driven in the snowy regions to eliminate potential future ussues with rusting and unwanted problems that may be associated with cars drive in those climates. But honestly, it could all be in my head. Lol.

I live in Richmond and commute to north Stafford for work. Try to hit it early Saturday if at all possible. Wont be too bad than. Weekdays your 3 hour commute will turn to five depending where you're coming from. Lol

It's not a basic package but have the navigation and premium package aswell with the heated seats and wooden trim. If you can get them down to 15k the car looks fine.

Thats a fair price. As far as the touch screen not working - if its the same issue thats common with other 2IS's, its a very easy fix. When I bought my 08 about a couple months ago, it had the same problem. Search for "Non Responsive Lexus Navigation System Fix" on YouTube and you will find a video on what to do exactly. I only spent money to buy the conductive pen and X-acto knife

It seems to be ok since there were not any issues with the suspension after. I think you're ok. Have you driven the car yet? Or seen it in person?

I had the same issue with my touch screen and had to get the screen digitizer replaced. It's not difficult at all. I spent 2 to 3 hours to get it replaced. You can buy screen digitizer from aliexpress about $25 https://www.aliexpress.com/item/7-3-LTA070B511F-LTA070B510F-Touch-Screen-Panel-For-Lexus-IS250-IS300-IS350-Car-Navigation-display/32735393414.html?spm=2114.30010308.3.33.i7Fjnp&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_6_10065_10068_10084_10083_10080_10082_10081_10060_10061_10062_10056_10055_10037_10054_10059_10032_10099_10078_10079_10077_426_10103_10073_10102_10096_10052_10050_10051,searchweb201603_1&btsid=c8f98e9e-e55f-47e0-a7d2-eefdd069e01c

You can follow following youtube clips for ideas on how to take it off the car and install screen digitizer:
