2007 IS350 with 151,000 Miles
Haven't seen too many high mileage 350s I drive about 120 miles a day so I will try to post weekly and just give updates on my car this will be to help anybody prospecting a used 350. since I bought my car in July 2016 I've replaced a window regulator and gotten recalls done. everything else has been regular maintenance. I drive hard about 2 times a week. just doing pulls to feel that 0-60. I don't track, and I'm responsible other than pulls. I use high quality oil and premium fuel. any questions?

Transmission fluid. I would highly advise getting it changed. Problems tend to creep up with the transmission on these cars as they age and pile on the miles (solenoids, slipping, etc). Will you have any of these? Possibly not, possibly yes. Usually an ATF change on this car will almost always result in immediate smoother shifting if you got some decent mileage on the original fluid (100k+)

Oh I thought you were referring to something on clublexus that was exclusive to here (someone's car being called the "atf") yeah there has been a tyranny flush at like 125k which was a little before I picked it up. I haven't had any slips or anything as of yet. drives just the same as some of my friends 350s that have nowhere near the mileage I have

2006 IS 350 with 180k checking in. I have had to do basic things like waterpump, alternator (twice in 6 mo...cheap advance auto parts...hard to wait for a Denso when I need the car for work, but the 2nd one seems to be good). I just had the starter replaced (I tried to do it myself, and I'm sure its possible but didn't have the time or energy to get in there). I had them do a tranny drain and re-fill when it was in there for the starter. My shifts feel a little firmer and quicker, but nothing was absolutely awful before the drain and fill was done. I replaced 3 wheel hubs for bad bearings, they were noisy and just getting noisier, I went with the Timiken for my rear since I found a deal on it, but decided to go with the ~$60 Dura International ones for my fronts, it was $120 for both and I could replace them twice before I hit the cost of 2 Timiken ones. They are suprisingly easy to replace, if you can do brakes and rotors its literally 4 more bolts once the rotor is off and now my car is nice and quiet again!
That being said, I consider all of these things normal wear and tear on a 10 year old car with 180k miles on it!!!!

2006 IS350, I'm at 146k. Had to do the MAF, and one rear O2 sensor. Other than that just maintenance by the book, recalls, the TSB's. Such as fuel pressure gasket, valve springs, etc.
Trans fluid service was done once. AC recharged. No other issues.

06 350/145K. Tranny died a few days after I bought it at 99K miles. Replaced at dealers cost. Steering wheel was peeling on top, replaced with a wood/leather one. Sticky panels and cam warranty. Alternator replaced two weeks ago. Checked oil when doing alt, noticed it was low. Low oil light came on while driving to get oil. I guess iwth close to 150K I should expect this, right?
