Last night I took my car (08 is250) on a quick trip to the store, and an electrical issue popped up. First I noticed the interior dome line didn't come on (thought my wife pushed the buttons), but when I started it, the AFS light came on. When I got to the corner, the blinkers didn't work, then noticed the high beams didn't work either. When I stopped, I had to turn the lights to "auto" to turn them off. When I got back out of the store I noticed the running lights were still on, but when I started it, everything was fine. Then an hour or so later, went to pick up my daughter at work and it happened again. This time I noticed the auto locks didn't work (when you put it in and out of park). Took her to work this morning, and everything was fine again. I'm going to throw it on the battery tender just in case it's a low charge issue, but if anyone has any ideas, let me know.

Also, as an FYI, when I changed my shocks a couple of months ago, I didn't put the AFS leveling arm back in position. But I fixed that the next day, and haven't had an issue until now.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Sounds like your alternator might be on its way out.

Alternator and Battery, you'll rarely see Toyota/Lexus electrical problem like this ! no worry your car is fine.

Thanks for the info. It's hasn't happened again since Friday, so hopefully I'm good. Looks like it's going to dry the next few days, so I will throw it on the Battery Tender and hope I don't have any big issues.
