Default Scratched up center console amd want to fix it. Help!!!

So i had removed my head unit to install a bluetooth adapter in my 08 IS350, but I messed up by not putting a towel over the center console trim and ended up scratching it up some
I feel like the best option to fix will be to cover it up in a carbon fiber trim, but are there any other options as far as getting rid of these?

You can use lots of elbow grease plus some plastic polishing compound or get yourself something like 3" griot's DA orbital that will make your life easier, I would do carbon cover up , there is a recent DIY somewere over here on the forum, doesent look complicated

How expensive do you think it will be to do a carbon fiber wrap for it?

I saw this DIY thread https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...bon-fiber.html
I feel like it's a lot more expensive and complicated than it should be though.

^^^ that's the tread I was referring too, doesent look complicated, just time consuming and cheaper then oem parts, OP told me he bought his carbon on ebay btw, do some research and go for it if you like the look, or just get some plastic polish compound and polish for more economical way first

I might try the plastic polish first and see what that can do. If not, I found a guy on CL who I could ship the pieces to and could have them wrapped in cf for $75.

You did a hell of a job there. I cant understand why you wouldnt cover that before taking everything apart. Your best bet is to find replacement parts on ebay.

I know. I am asking myself the same thing. But so far have had no luck looking on ebay. So I'm probably just going to end up wrapping it in carbon fiber. Not the end of the world.
