Question Proper way for Staggered setup. Please help!!

Hi everyone,

I'm a newbie for IS250 and also this forum.
I'm currently facing the problem with the offset of my new staggered setup.
My model is IS250 2007 RWD, the car comes with 18 X 8 for each 4 wheel with unknown offset replica rim when I get it.

So now , my problem is I want to change the wheel to 18 X 8 front 18 X 9 rear, but I really confusing with offset that suit to the car. I had read through many of those thread in this forum and web, seems like all offset of rear will be higher than front for better handling , but will it be the same if my rear wheel width is wider than front ady?

I need recommendation for which offset should I choose:
Front : 18x8 offset + 35 / + 42. ( Tyre size 225/45/18)
Rear : 18x9 offset + 32/ + 40 ( Tyre size 245/40/18)

I really need help coz there is no pro shop that can measure will those size fit or not, they only sell those wheel that they left or order the design that u like with unknown offset, some even sell those wheel without detail. I really want to find out which combination suit best to the car.

I choose for + 35 front and + 32 rear , is it correct combination or the rear has to be +40? Does it need any fender mod/roll?

Please help to recommend.

THANKS SO MUCH

My car right now is running 19x10.5 +22 rears and the OEM specs are 18x8.5 +50 I think you'll be fine running the +35 Front and +32 rear. My main concern if that you might, just might have to roll or cut your fenders. I cut mine so that it can be completely smooth. Hope this helps!

Thanks iJDMTOY, so there is not a must for the rear offset higher than the front right? Thanks.
