Default Good Idea to Daily a Fiberglass Bumper?

Recently bought a 3IS conversion bumper, but wasn't aware that it was fiberglass. Currently with an INGS rep lip, the gap from the ground to lip is about the size of our key fob horizontally. Would it be a good idea to daily this fiberglass bumper? I already scrape going up and down curbs, speed bumps, etc.

I drive in SF/ Daly City/ SSF most of the time. If you own a fiberglass bumper, let me know how you like it and any experiences with cracking or breaking.

If you already scrape, it doesn't sound like a good idea to drive with your fiberglass lips. Perhaps you want to raise your height a bit.

Good idea? No, but thats the risk we take when lowering our cars lol. If your rep lip is taking all the scrapes you should be fine unless you hit a crazy dip

do it. bright side is if you crack the lip it is alot easier to fix then urathane. also i would install this bumper and see if it is actually higher off the ground then your INGS lip.

good luck

You're going to crack your bumper if you drive on those crazy San Fransico hills and your car is lowered, no way around it. The driveway entrances on the hills will be where you break it.

ive been really considering putting it on and raising up just a bit... The NIA bumper's fiberglass too, and I don't think everyone who has the bumper is on bags. Really wish someone who has it could chime in on how it's been.

the entire bumper is fiberglass not just the lip which worries me.

mine isn't the NIA, I'm not sure where the previous owner got it. He said he had it made somewhere in Sacramento, CA
