2007 Lexus IS AWD Carbon Issues

Hi all. I am considering purchasing a 2007 IS 250 AWD with the MaxCare(CarMax warranty) with 25,000 miles(yes 25k). However, I have heard issues about carbon buildup in the engine regarding 2006-2010 models. Does anyone know if Lexus offered a permanent solution to this problem or is it a chronic issues for these models?

Permanent Solution: Buy an IS350 or ISF
Temporary Solution: Buy a 2011 or newer IS250
Else... drive like it's Need for Speed all the time and you'll be ok
