Starfire Pearl (077) OEM Touch Up Paint vs. Others?
Long story short, I recently curbed my ISF leaving the postal office. It left a huge (in my opinion) streak alongside my side skirts. It can't be seen unless you look up close and under it but it still bugs me since I'm OCD. I'm looking into buying touch up paint and I have seen a couple CL threads about OEM vs. Dr. ColorChip but couldn't find my answer. I was curious if any of you guys had any experience with OEM or Dr. ColorChip with the Starfire Pearl color. Post some pictures if you guys have any as well, that'd be helpful.

From what I've seen on the forums, Dr. Colorchip appears to be the clear winner. However, multiple factors come into play here. Paint tends to fade over time, so the touch up would likely match better if your OEM paint is on the newer side of the spectrum. Also, I do not believe that either OEM touch up or Dr. Colorship provides a pearl to go over top of the white base, so it will never be a 100% match regardless.
The previous owner of my SFP 350 used oem touch up paint in one area at the edge of my rear fender. I can attest that it does not match. I have not used Dr. Colorchip personally.
