Default 2012 Lexus IS250 rear bumper help!

Hey guys,

I am the owner of a 2012 is250 awd black. I was recently parked outside a convenient store and someone ended up throwing a grocery cart into my car. So I have a nice little ding/dent in my rear bumper. I can go through my insurance but I know I already will have a 500 deductible. Plus they might give me crap about this because I've filed a vandalism claim due to a broken windshield in the past, and also recently had someone backed into my car a couple months ago for which I also filled a claim. I wish Sewell was still up because I know they used to sell painted bumpers. But regardless I need some solution ): I found this "OE bumper" but not sure how genuine it really is being only $99 unpainted. If that be the case maybe I'll just have to get it painted. Unless you guys have other suggestions. Please help :/

Here's the bumper I found

had this happen to my rear bumper and got rear ended where his plate punctured my rear bumper. My body shop guy bondo'ed the bumper and painted over it.

The entire job cost me $350. Looked brand spanking new.

So I talked to the body shop which my Lexus dealership directly deals with, in addition to another shop and they think the best option is to have the bumper replaced, and then repainted :/ and that's gonna cost me ~700-800....

It's a tricky situation. I hate insurance for that reason but know it's a necessity. My advice would be to call around because that to me, doesn't mean new bumper. A lot of body shops can fuse plastics together and save you money, and they are surprisingly solid. Finding the shop that can do it cheaper is the challenge... good luck either way
